Our mission is to provide the highest standard of family based care for consumers with disability which will secure their immediate safety and welfare and provide an environment, which will allow them the opportunity to develop as individuals in reaching their full capabilities and be as independent as possible, while maintaining their dignity we will advocate for our consumers and provide them with choices.

Residential Habilitation Services Helping our Residents Become as Independent as Possible

Residential Habilitation Services offered at Way of Life Services Group Home are designed to encourage and assist all our Residents with developmental disabilities to become as independent as possible and to enrich their lives. This is accomplished through providing supervision and specific training to acquire, maintain, or improve skills related to activities of daily living. The service focuses on personal hygiene skills, such as bathing and oral hygiene; homemaking skills such as food preparation, vacuuming, and laundry; and social and adaptive skills that enable the person to reside in the community. Our staff develops Individual Implementation Plans for every Resident. The plans are designed using a person centered approach and developed with the full involvement of the resident, family and all members of the resident's support circle
